Keep Fishers Beautiful Signup - Service Hours for our Community! “Spring Into Action and
Keep Fishers Beautiful – This initiative is a community-wide volunteer day
on May 3. Spring Into Action will be comprised of several projects around
Fishers – some may remember it from last spring. Keep Fishers Beautiful, however,
is a new initiative that will send volunteers into a Fishers neighborhood to
help homeowners with small outdoor projects, with the goal of increasing
property values, neighborhood pride, and teamwork. I’ve asked several
organizations if they would be interested, and I hope you are too! This is an
opportunity to go out and make a difference as a community, and I’m glad to
take group sign-ups any time! A flyer is attached. We’ll
also be determining exactly what the projects are, which could include painting,
mulching, straightening mailboxes, light landscaping, and more.”
This is an inaugural program
for Fishers. This year, Sunblest Countryview will be the site for the
project. Other sites will be announced by the Fishers Parks and Rec.
